Lisa Whiteside is off to South Korea in November for the Women’s World Boxing Championships.
Lisa Whiteside won a bronze medal at the 2012 World Championships and has been a member of the GB boxing squad since June 2013.
Coach, Dave Fitzgerald explained, “Lisa won bronze at the bantamweight 57Kg category but will be competing in November at the Olympic flyweight 51Kg category.
Lisa Whiteside added, “this is a great opportunity to prove myself at flyweight”.
Lisa will be competing at the AIBA Women’s world Boxing Championships at Jeju, South Korea in November 13-15th.
