The Larches and Savick Boxing Academy is featured on the Sport England website to promote its Inspired funding programme. This programme was inspired by the 2012 London Olympics.
Inspired Facilities is Sport England’s £ million programme that funds the renovation and modernisation of local sports facilities.
Whether you are a club, local authority, school or parish council you can apply for funding to help you improve your facilities.
The Larches and Savick Boxing Club re-opened in its purpose built facility in July. With the support of local construction company, Marcus Worthingtons, the club made a number of bids to raise the full amount for the rebuild. Marcus Worthington committed almost £200,000 to the rebuild with £75,000 from the ABAE and £50,000 from Sport England’s Inspired funding.
